In construction field for 45 years ever since entering the best technical college in Rwanda in 1975 (public works). Negotiations with banks, Governments, financial institutions, contractors and local communities was always present in my work experience. Worked in all kind of environment including the most challenging ones making sure work is done.

When I joined the Kiev University of Civil Aviation in 1981, I had already 3 years experience in running big projects funded by the World Bank at young age (started at 19).

My Master of Science with honors in the pocket I returned to my country to head the country Airport Infrastructure Department running projects funded by various donors, for 7 years.

I Moved on to run the Department of roads in a country wide World Bank funded social relief project.

Thereafter, for 6 years, as an ICAO expert, I successfully established and managed the Engineering department of the CACAS (Civil Aviation Caretaker Authority for Somalia). This is a network of more than 21 airports and one of the biggest and critical air space in Africa. The Engineering department comprised of Civil, Electrical and Electronics. The ecosystem in which we were operating required creative and innovative solutions back in 1995. Hence we were early adopters of the cutting edge technology of that time. All active airports communication equipment powered by solar, using Sat phones, portable GPS for movement areas surveyance, faxing using HF radios, designing using AutoCAD, etc…

For the last 19 years I was doing something different. For a global testing cooperate, I was managing operations of testing centers located in 35 countries (mainly Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and France). This puts my 7 languages knowledge at work. I even managed shortly Middle East and Africa. So my contact network is worldwide.
